Singing, sermon, sweets and sweat

Yesterday we went to Arlington to our new church to celebrate Easter Sunday! The service was fantastic! There was music, and the sermon, and ... Baptism! Baptism is a reality in our lives as followers of Christ that just as Jesus was buried and raised to life, so we are baptized and rise out of the water. What more appropriate day is there to have baptisms than on Easter morning?!?! We loved worshiping with our fellow believers as they followed Jesus in Baptism on Easter!
After the service we were all invited to stay for a picnic! It was beautiful! They served the most unique church picnic lunch...and it was DELICIOUS! It was cous cous (I think) with herbs and spinach, Focaccia bread and a cookie. They also had cotton candy (which was served by one very sticky pastor) and popcorn. There were even three people who played music (a saxophone, clarinet and a banjo)! It was so much fun. We really don't know very many people yet, so we kind of wandered around and tried to say hello to some people.
After we finished eating... we helped clean up. The church actually met in Arlington town hall because they expected so many people that we wouldn't fit in our church building! We helped to pack up all the sound equipment, tent, tables...etc and took it all back to the church which is right across the street. There was even a police officer there all morning directing traffic so people could walk across the street! It was so nice outside and warm... and after pushing a huge speaker and tearing down a tent... I guess you could say we were a little damp...I mean we were so sweaty!!! If you are familiar with Cystic Fibrosis, then you might also know how salty I might have been after that... yes, indeed I was a pretzel!
We hope you also had a great Easter, celebrating the reality of our Risen Savior!

Mary and her gallon of milk...

For many years I was unable to drink milk or have any dairy products... this summer it all changed! Now I eat cheese, yogurt, ice cream, and of course... my beloved MILK! We go through a gallon of milk in a week...or sometimes in 4 days :) I have to make up for lost time ya know.
The other night Peter was reminiscing about one of his favorite childhood cookies... Oatmeal Lacies. So I surprised him and made some... they were great! Now they are going to be one of my favorite too!

Food, Food and Food..and some Chick-Fil-A!

Here are a few of the Frey's Food adventures from the past few weeks!
Enjoy!

The pictures are...
#1 at Jacky's Table (the French Restaurant last night)
#2 Our BBQ chicken legs and pineapple from our living room sleepover (where we had a crazy party with the two of us...and attempted to sleep on the couch...that lasted a whole hour and a half!)
#3 Our dinner at Chick-Fil-A last week (I had a coupon!) I liked this nugget because it is shaped sort of like Africa!

More pictures to come... Mmmmm

MY little Greek NERD...

The other day, Peter was doing his greek at the Island, and he wanted some sweets... so I gave him some NERDS. How very appropriate... A Greek Nerd!

My sweet husband...

Last night Peter and I went on an awesome date! He found a coupon on line that we bought on Groupon for 5 dollars. It gave us a wonderful meal at a little french restaurant in Boston! So much fun! And on the way home...we found ourselves getting slushies at 10:30 at night at our favorite little stop along Rt. 1...SONIC!

Today Peter is at a financial seminar at his school and then he works tonight! I cleaned the bathroom this morning... and I will be working for a few hours today...

Have a great Saturday- Walk with Jesus in whatever you do today! May all the glory be His!

This old man came rolling home...

Tonight Peter and I were on our way home in the car from running out together...we found ourselves singing at the top of our lungs...in exceedingly faster rhythms... "this old man, he played one, he played knick nack on my drum...with a knick nack pattywack" (You get the idea). We were just singing away, and then started laughing when we realized how funny it was that two adults were singing very loudly such a silly song! Oh, good times with the Boston Freys!

The first three months...

Yesterday marked Peter and I being married for three months... WOW! Time flies when you're having fun...and time flies even faster when you move to Massachusetts, get three jobs, go to MD for a lung transplant, come home, go in the hospital, work...etc. Through each of these things, the Lord has been our strength and comforter! What an amazing God we serve!
Updates...
Peter's school is going great! The first week in May is the end of this semester, so the work is really picking up and he is writing papers and doing Greek like crazy! He is so great at balancing homework, work, and me. Thank you, Lord for helping Peter be a man who follows You!
Now that Spring has come, there are a ton of catering events (weddings) that Peter gets to work. they are long hours, but he really enjoys it...most of the time. In fact, he's catering right now!

I'm working every day of the week, and I am so thankful for my three families I get to work with. A 7 month old on Monday, a Two year old Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and a One year old on Thursday. I also do date nights sometimes. It has been so fun to get to know the kiddos, and it's funny because they are all boys!

We have finally found a church we feel like we can stay (hopefully). Tomorrow will be our fourth Sunday. Lord willing, we will be able to get plugged in and serve and worship there!

The pictures are random pictures from our first three months of marriage!
Peter's first day of school this semester,my Dad, Mom, Blizzie, Peter and I when we met up a month after we moved to MA, and my Momma and I right before we moved in January .

Thanks for your support!

Peter and I love to go to Sonic for their happy hour! 2-4 pm everyday you can get half off any drink or slushie! Peter loves the Strawberry limade and I like the lemon-berry real fruit slush. Yesterday we went and decided to step out and try something new...

Here is documentation of our adventure!
